How much will my new dreadlocks cost?

This depends on what you want (natural/permanent, temporary/synthetic, with/without extensions etc). Everyone is unique, every head of hair is different! For an estimate of what your service could cost, please send me some photos of your hair now, and some photos of the 'look' that you want to achieve. Below are average prices to give you a GUIDE...

Permanent Dreadlock Creation:

Partial Dreads (usually bottom two rows)

Short hair – (above shoulder) £100*

Medium length hair (shoulder to mid back) £130*

Long hair (longer than mid back) £160*

Half head Dreads (usually 3 rows)

Short hair – (above shoulder) £130*

Medium length hair (shoulder to mid back) £210*

Long hair (longer than mid back) £300*

Mohawk/Top section

Short hair – (4ins- ear) £130*

Medium length hair (ear to shoulder length) £210*

Long hair (shoulder & longer) £300*

Full head Dreads

Short hair – (above shoulder) £260*

For Dreadlocks with extensions, use this as a guide for the length that you want your dreadlocks to be:

Partial Dreads with extensions (2 rows, usually bottom two)

Short dreads (above shoulder) £150*

Medium length dreads (shoulder to mid back) £180*

Long dreads (longer than mid back) £210*

Extra long dreads (bum length) £250*

Price list (*From: dependent on your current hair length/thickness, how many dreads you will have & how you would like the tips. Price also dependant on the actual human hair cost at time of purchase).

Other Services:

Installing customers own pre-made dreadlocks £30 per hour
Extending your current dreadlocks with human hair dreads (full head) & maintenance (Full head) *From £460 (price reduced for partial extensions). For dreadlock extensions I also complete a full root to tip maintenance service to ensure your new extensions are attached to healthy dreads.

Temporary Dreadlocks and decoration.

Installing (plaiting in) customers own synthetic or wool temporary dreadlocks (full head) £55 (price slightly reduced for partial installs)
Removal of temporary dreads & deep cleanse, wash, comb & dry from £60
Hair feathers (bunch of x3) £10.
Dreadlock organic cotton wraps £2 each.
Dread beads from £1 each.
Single wool dreadlocks available in the studio from £7 each.
Hair falls and hair wraps from £12

Maintenance

Maintenance of roots (crochet & root tie). £30 per hour (usually 2-6hrs depending on any repair work required).
Epic maintenance of roots (crochet & root tie) and lower/mid sections £30 per hour (usually 4-7hrs depending on any repair work required)
Additional hair cutting for partial dreads please add £15
Dreadlock Detox, deep cleanse, shampoo, dry and palm roll £60-£80 (dependant on length od Dreads)

Dreadlocks are a commitment! Research well, and always factor in the cost of maintenance with your loctician, and by yourself to keep them in the best condition possible!

I only use the best quality human hair for extensions. I mix a variety of colours and would want to meet your hair in advance to ensure a good colour match.

A deposit of 50% is required to secure your appointment. This is non transferrable and will not be refunded if less than two weeks’ notice of cancellation is given, or you fail to attend your appointment. A deposit is only returned if I am unable to carry out the service.
